For those who are perishing, holiness is a waste of time. But for those who are believing God, it is a life that we desire. Many people do not understand that beyond what they think about life is the life that God wants to see us through. It was in the history of the ancient people that holiness has been their struggles. Yes they did, but consistency has been the great issue since man has the great tendency to keep sinning. Sin is the great issue in living a holy life.
Why God requires people to live a holy life?
Why God requires His people those that have a chance to serve Him to be sanctified, purified, and live a holy life which in fact He can save us like what he did with a sinner on the cross?
God is the God of order. He know better than what we do.
He will not let us do a pointless things in life.
The Old Testament is a full of picture of war and battle. Paul had been spoken in the New Testament that we are waging a war in the spirit realm against the principalities of the darkness.
Holiness is the only way
God knows that the only way we can be able to relate what is happening in the spirit world is to live such way of life He requires. By practicing a holy life through living in the spirit, our spiritual eyes are open to perceive spiritual things. For only in the spirit God can speak and show us more things about Him.
God has revealed it to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God”. 1 Corinthians 2:10
God equips His people through spirit. The Holy Spirit of God is the one that communicates with the spirit of man. God speaks when we pray in his spirit. When a man spend more time praying to God, he is practicing to connect God in the spirit realm.
It impossible for God to communion with the one who is living in the sin. The Bible depicts that living in the flesh is living in the sin. We all know that sin is the thing that cuts our connections with God. It made us alienated from God.
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. Colossians 1:21
God leaves when His people keeps on sinning. His ears are far from the one who practice the sin.
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. John 9:31
When we say people, it refers it to the Jews – the believers.
