Logo Design is a visual representation of your business or company. It tells what your business is all about and the face of your business or company. It is your brand identity.
Why Logo is a quite costly?
Conceptualizing logo design is the long process, that’s how most artists put value on their efforts. There are reasons why logo designing is a little bit costly. Some reasons are, its purpose, company size, discovery session, research, creation of ideas, polishing up the ideas, followup, and etc. Because there is a lot of labor and problem solving involved to create a unique, one-of-a-kind logo for your company. You will never see what goes on behind the scenes. The fun stuff, computer work, is 20% of the overall project investment. 80% is research, exploration and problem-solving. How much is your company’s image worth to you? Only you can decide.
What should a logo look like?
Logo design must be memorable. If people can’t remember it, what’s the point in it? By being memorable, you build recognition. It must be simple and powerful. The lesser the color of the logo, the more that it become versatile. It will be used across a huge range of platforms. From your website to social media, to press releases, huge billboard designs and documents. That’s why it needs to be versatile.
It is difficult to acquire designing ability. My struggles were not on the skills and knowledge, but on the concepts and flow of work. Sometimes, it takes hours and days before I can make even just a draft of design. For me, the most thing I value on creating design specially on logo are the ideas, concepts and originality. I have been designing for quite sometimes, but logo making is where I always get stuck. Designing is the most challenging of all. That’s may be one of the reasons why logo is precious on the eyes of the artists.
